Ed Martin's INSIDE VENICE FLORIDA Blog          Wednesday, 2 January 2008 Jazz Society brings Jim Wellen to Venice Tenor Sax player, Jim Wellen, will head a quartet Sunday Jan. 6 at the Harmony House, Holiday Inn, in Venice. The Sarasota Jazz Society continues its highly professional and enjoyable series of concerts in Venice with the Jim Wellen Quartet. Wellen has a lush, warm sound on his tenor and has been warmly received in his Venice appearances. The concert is at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 for the public and $4 for members of the Jazz Society.
