Ed Martin's INSIDE VENICE FLORIDA Blog          Wednesday, 8 April 2009 Torpedo by Quiznos Hits the Spot I am not likely to choose Best Bytes from chains, but the truth is that Quiznos has tasty stuff and their new Italian Torpedo, ($4.00) with pepperoni, capicola, mozzerella, lettuce and tomato, (I add banana peppers), with oil and vinegar, is spicy and tasty. Two nice guys and their Mom run this well. B. 41 next to Publix. Steve's subs on Venice Avenue and Obee's on B 41 are good sub stuff, too and if the truth be known, I am not unknown in Taco Bell and Mickey D's to keep from slighting chains.
